I’m Guy Collins and I welcome you to my website.

I come from a long line of carpenters with both my father and grandfather being masters of the trade. My father never put any pressure on me to follow in his foot steps, however, he told me many times that there is nothing more satisfying than creating something with your own hands.

As a kid, my older brother and I were always amazed at how Dad could take old scraps of wood, and turn it into something beautiful like a table, rocking chair, bookcase and much more. I always liked to help him and became pretty good at woodworking as well, however, I chose to go to University and become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

After spending 10 years with one of the big 5 accounting firms, I realized that accounting was not for me. It was time to join my Father and Brother in the family woodworking business and do what I really loved to do – create. Additionally, I knew that I could use my accounting and business experience to take the company to the next level.

My Brother has now retired, but my wife and 2 sons are now part of the business and I have to say that life is good.
